Williamsburg, Virginia Wine Country, Baltimore

Sept 24 to Oct 14, 2025

We took a three week trip to visit brother Bob in Williamsburg, spend some time in western Virginia and finally, to hang out with the Filling family in (near!) Baltimore.

This is the Williamsburg page.

The San Diego skyline from I-5 taken from the back seat of our airport ride

Brand new Terminal 1! Only the second full day in operation.

Looking across at the parking structure

Looks sorta like an airport terminal, I guess.

Very spacious though.

And to restrooms were nice

Plenty of local buzz

Nice new furniture...

The Tony Hawk Bar

There is an outdoor waiting area with views of downtown

Attitude adjustment at Tony Hawk's

Did I mention that the restrooms were nice?

Our ride to Norfolk pulling up to the gate

Lorri enjoying the comfortable swivel runway-view chairs.

Our plan was on time for 90 degree Norfolk

Flying Breeze Airlines in "Nicest" class. They have three levels of accommodations: Nice (cramped), Nicer (you can move your legs a little), and Nicest (sort of like first class but no free food)

Thursday night happy hour at Bob's house

Kevin and Mary came all the way from Cleveland and spent a couple days with us. Bob and I have known Kevin since he was sixteen. He hasn't changed much. We have not known Mary for quite so long, but long enough to know that Kevin got very lucky for a second time!

We visited Bruton Parish Church during our stroll in the HA (Historic Area of Colonial Williamsburg)

We found TJ's pew but there was no sign of him

My Birthday Pie!

My Bag of Birthday Goodies

Trick or Treat! Yikes!

Thank you, my brother for a wonderful time in the Burg, and for being my brother!

And also for the Maker's 101!

The rest of these are photos of the HA taken on a beautiful late summer day. Probably boring to most people.
