St. Anthony, Idaho, Steve Tate's house 8/29

Chateau Montelena & Opus One in case you were wondering. What is more fun than visiting with old friends and enjoying a martini or two and some fine wine? How about adding some backyard football, BBQ'd steaks and home made apple pie, warm and fresh out of the oven?
This is Steve's homestead which sits on the north edge of town and overlooks the Henry's Fork of the Snake River with a view if the Grand Tetons in the distance.
Steve broke out is cowboy hat collection for the occasion and after we each selected one, we felt compelled to pose. The photos were taken from the room addition which Steve is adding to take better advantage of the great views.
The neighbor boys spotted Steve and I tossing a Frisbee in the back yard and soon brought over a couple footballs and proceeded to wear us out.
Their mom was the one that baked the delicious apple pie, not Steve, thank God. That, of course, is Steve and me with the boys whose names are: 17, Blue Shirt, Checked Shirt and Big Guy. We had a great time and I had a three-day hangover.
This is Downtown St. Anthony, Idaho, population over 3,000 but less than 4,000.
