Tuesday and Wednesday, April 5 and 6

Sarah and Debbie were delivered to our doorstep after a couple days
attending a seminar downtown. From what I could tell they did more
bar-hopping than seminar-ing but that's probably a good thing.

Sorry I don't have more photos. This one was taken in Carlsbad Village in
front of a store where Deb and Sarah bought some fashionable casual attire.

Soon it became apparent that Bloody Mary's were needed so we went to the
only bar in town that opens at, like 6AM, Boars Crossing. There are probably
others open that early but Boars was right around the corner.

We had planned in taking a scenic drive down the coast but this turned into
one of those rare days when, all of sudden and for no apparent reason, the
fog rolls in. This is a photo of the Carlsbad beach and the fog.

So, instead of cruising the coast, we made a b-line down the freeway to
Cardiff where we had a nice lunch at Pacific Coast Grill. It was still foggy
but the bubbly helped. Or maybe that made it more foggy. i don't know.

It was clear a couple miles inland which happens to be where our backyard
is, so we sat out and enjoyed some quiet time. Deb and Sarah said they had
some work to catch up on, but I suspect they were playing wordle.

Lorri was reading a book.

Then Debbie, unable to put up with Lorri's hair any longer, broke out some
hair-styling implements and went to work.

Debbie has been doing hair stuff as long as anybody can remember. It was a
short but sweet visit and great to spend some time with daughter Debbie and
Debbie's friend and business partner (and our friend), Sarah.

I'm including this photo which includes transplanted Baltimorean,
Michelle-Bob (not her real name, but close) Deb and Sarah were able to meet
up with her while they were downtown seminar-ing!
