Lynn's and Steve's D-day with GPV

We met at the Swami's on Grand in Escondido for lunch on February 3rd to celebrate Lynn's and Steve's birthdays and to spend some family time with GPV, Grandpa Jack Vierling, Lorri's and Lynn's dad.

Our young friend from Baltimore, Eric Riley, also joined the festivities. Eric spent a few days with us while pursuing job opportunities in the area.

Trying to get the Vierling sisters to both keep their eyes open in the same photo is a challenge.

After lunch we drove over to Forgotten Barrel Winery, which is about a mile from Steve and Lynn's house in Escondido. Our good friend Greg pours wine in the tasting room there, helping out his friend, Rodger Grove, the owner.

GPV enjoys a glass of wine every day, whether he needs it or not.

It was a good little gathering and good to see everyone!
