San Francisco Getaway
We had a couple vouchers for free flights and Lorri found a good deal at a nice hotel, so we couldn't think of a good reason not to go to San Francisco for a few days. So we did!

Our Room at Parc 55
Parc 55 is a decent hotel just off Market Street near Powell. We were "upgraded" to a junior suite without even having to ask and, aside from having no view, it was a nice large room. We could have had a party there.
Lunch at Claudine
It was "Dine About Town 2012" time in the City so we scouted out some offerings of restaurants in our neighborhood.
We had a great late lunch at Claudine where we were the only people at the bar. The braised beef short ribs melted in my mouth.
The Streets of SF
After lunch we walked around a bit and decided to try to find the Dashiel Hammett, Maltese Falcon bar which we knoew was around somewhere. Meanwhile, I couldn't resist a couple Cable Car photos.

Dashiel Hammet's Hangout
As it turns out, John's Grill, the home of the Maltese Falcon, was just around the corner from our hotel.
