H&A Christmas Party at Paradise Point

The Paradise Point Resort is actually an island in Mission Bay. The Resort is a series of single-level bungalows arranged around lagoons, fountains, swimming pools, tennis courts as well as the Bay itself.

We opted to upgrade to a bayside suite which worked out really well. We had enough room to store our bicycles inside when we weren't cruising around the Bay.

You can see the City skyline in the background. It was a beautiful day but a bit chilly (for San Diego).

We rode around the bay to Pacific Beach where we stopped at a local pub to refuel. and check out the fish.

There was a Christmas tree on the beach and we couldn't resist the photo op.

Our bungalow was a few yards from the water.

It would have been nice to spend more time there - it would be quite relaxing.

December 18 Dinner, Chez Zarina with the Evers and Gregg!

We had the Evers over for a holiday dinner a week before Christmas to show off our Christmas decorations and to celebrate the season with Lorri's sister's family.

We had BBQ boneless leg of lamb.

That was also the night the Chargers played their best game of the year in beating the Baltimore Ravens. Gregg got caught up in the action.

Ash & Sara were pretty excited to but, alas, the excitement proved too much for Gregg.

Lynn, Lorri, Sara, Ashley and Steve. I kept trying to get a photo of Steve with his eyes open but, no luck.

Christmas Day at Evers

Once again the clan gathered at the Evers' homestead in Escondido for Christmas dinner and the ever-popular gift exchange.

This time we were joined by Grandma and Grandpa Vierling as well as niece Jody and her family, Chas, Cambria, Caitlyn, Chas's daughter Sage, and Cambria's boyfriend David.
