We closed escrow at the end of July and we're still in the process of decorating and getting organized.

The house was built in 1975 and, as you can see, has sort of a 70's look to it. This is the front entry.

To the left of the entry we created a little sitting area, the perfect spot for 5 o'clock cocktails since it gets the afternoon sun. To the right is the driveway where we park the van. Here we are getting it set up to go on a trip to Cuyamaca next weekend.

This is the living room and dining room which share one large room. The living room area is one step down from the dining area, otherwise the house is all on a single level.

This is the kitchen. It's sort of "L" shaped and has a box window thingy behind the sink.

The family room is at the back left side of the house. The breakfast nook is where we eat breakfast. Also lunch and dinner. And sometimes snacks. We got a flat screen TV mounted on a swivel base such that we can view it from the fat leather chairs or from the table while we eat. Sometimes we turn it off and talk to each other.

These are the opposite sides of my den where right now I am sitting in that chair at that desk creating this web page.

On the left is the patio outside of the family room. In the middle is the patio outside of the master bedroom and on the right is looking from the patio outside the master br toward the other patio. The back yard is very private and quit and also includes a grassy area suitable for bocce ball or croquet or bean bag toss or whatever.

We've still got some work to do on these rooms but at least they are presentable. We're working to get the master bedroom, Lorri's office and the guest room in shape so I'll post photos of those at some later date.
