Fathers Day

We hosted a Fathers' Day brunch for the Vierlings and Evers on June 20 at our little rental unit in Encinitas.

We made our biennial trip to the Fair and had an enjoyable time eating, drink8ing and looking at all the interesting stuff.

We watched some people get shot into the sky, then we went to the pig races. Those little piggies can fly. I don't think they ate too many ten pound buns.

We also stopped and watched the show jumpers for a while - it was a good excuse to sit down and enjoy a beer. Then there was the butter carving guy. I wonder what happens to all that butter at the end of the fair?
