Jamestown		 Thursday, February 28th saw the last regular "Martini Night" at Sbicca Encinitas, formerly Meritage. The evening started early and ended late. Tears were shed, stories were shared, there were hugs all around and there were fond lingering farewells as we went our separate ways. Sniffle, sniffle, so ends an era. The doors closed for good on Saturday and the place will soon be reborn as the 3rd Corner Wine Bar, or something like that.

On a brighter note, we all made plans to meet to Robbie's Roadhouse next Thursday and perhaps another tradition will begin.

Lorri and I really enjoyed our Thursdays at the Meritage. There we met and became friends with a lot of great people. Here are a few of them:
