One of our New Year's resolutions was to do and see some of the things around San Diego that we have not done or seen. One of the things we had not seen was the Midway. I mean we've seen it - you can't miss it - it's an aircraft carrier that's anchored about twenty feet from the walkway along Harbor Drive! But we've never taken the tour. So, one cool, sunny, windy day in January we took the Coaster to town and boarded the Midway.

On the left is a view from the Harbor Drive walkway looking down along the side of the Midway toward Coronado where you can see two active carriers in port. From the deck of the Midway you get a good view of the cruise ship terminal.
