San Diego Padres Home Opener

On Monday, April 3rd, I was lucky enough to be invited to attend the Pads Home opener against the Giants by my good friends and former co-workers, Dan & Dave. (I've stopped using last names to protect the innocent, avoid identity theft, law suits, and stuff like that.)

The Padres, behind the one-run pitching of Jake Peavy (I can use his last name because he's a public figure) and home runs by Mike Piazza and Khalil Green, beat the hated Giants and Barry Bonds. Bonds did get a double but not much else besides a lot of boos and heckles.
